Two nameless soldiers. Chinese and Malay. Enemies. Confront each other in a minefield. Both cannot move. Any slight movement would detonate the anti-personnel-mines and blow them off. They wait for assistance, or death. They talk to each another to stay alive. About war, weapons, atrocities, love, family, race, religion, language, human-rights, fundamentalism, terrorism, God and patriotism. A third soldier arrives. Indian. He blows up their comfort-zones with new revelations about the sins of their governments. The games of the politicians on both sides. A new war begins at the minefield. Who is the real enemy? The fundamentalist foot-soldier or the patriotic NSman? Would you stop loving your country when you realise that it is also responsible for producing landmines which lead to the horrifying amputations and death of innocent children and women all over the world?
